Assembly Vingette

My heart was racing faster than a car at full speed. I thought it was going to leap out of my chest. My outfit looked very regal. I was wearing a cloak made of paper and feathers and a moko with face paint. It took ages to get ready. It was almost my turn my mouth was dry and i had goosebumps all over my body. I felt dizzy and wanted to dart out of the room. Oh no! It was my turn i tiptoed up to the front Tawa finished speaking and it was my turn to speak. We have seen the future… My voice was strong enough but kind of shaky. After what felt like hours of standing in front of everyone i could finally go sit down. 😌

The Nukes concert

Yesterday I preformed at the Nukes concert. When we arrived there was a workshop that we did. The Nukes names were Snapper Ben and Dave. At the workshop we learned two new songs one was with the ukelele and the other one was with a dance. After lots of practise schools started to arrive and i started to get nerves. We sat with the rest of the schools but when it was time for us to play the songs we learnt we would come up the front.

We were called the kaitaia rockstars. the Nukes played two songs they were very cool. Then  we were called up. I walked slowly up to the front and held  my purple ukelele.  One! two! a one! two! three! four! The first song we played was called peas and carrots it was with the ukeleles. I think i did very good with the first song even thow sometimes i was a bit slow to change chords. the next song we did was called patato pickers it was a very funny dance. Then it was time for us to go and sit with are schools.😁😁😁

how i show integrity a good leader team builder and member.

I think i show integrity by always being honest i know when i have done something wrong and i own up too it. I always try to do the right thing even if no one is watching. i show being a good leader in my dance class i always learn the routines first so that i can teach other people in my class.  i am a member in lots of things i do like in basketball i am a member of the team and i always try my hardest.😁😁😁

Hi my name is Faye. I was born in Canada but now i live in New Zealand. I have a sister and a brother there names are Liv and Teo. me and my sister both go to Paparore school. My brother is starting school in a few months. I love the outdoors and i love animals especially dogs. My class is Te Kauru.

I love to surf.I go surfing lots with my family and friends. Every friday i go to play basketball. My team is the Paparore team.
Sometimes we have training at my school. it's lots of fun.

I love to read. My favourite books to read are probably ones about animals. This year i'm very excited to learn about the environment the things that live in it and also ways i can help it. I am also excited to learn more learning sites and ways to improve my learning on technology. This term i am hoping to read lots of big books like the hobbit. I am also very exited for our class camp because we are going too Auckland. Were going too have heaps of fun!😁😎😃😍
